‘Blood of Ghastly Horror’ was directed by Al Adamson and was released in 1972, but large parts of the film were previously released in 1965 as a film called Psycho A-Go-Go

The original footage was supplemented with extra scenes in the attempt to turn the film into a sci-fi horror

The film has also been released under the alternative title of ‘Fiend with the Electronic Brain‘.

The plot, or at least what little coherent plot there is, involves the efforts of a mad scientist who creates a psychopathic killing machine when he puts an electronic circuit into a soldiers brain.

This is not a classic entry into the zombie genre by any means, but it has managed to achieve some minor cult status in the ‘so bad you have to watch it‘ niche.

This is the artwork that was used for the VHS release of the movie, and it’s probably our favorite of all the images.
