I Eat Your Skin (a.k.a Zombies)’ was directed by Del Tenney and was originally made in 1964, but wasn’t actually released until 1971 when Jerry Gross decided to distribute the film as part of a double-bill with ‘I Drink Your Blood‘.

I Eat Your Skin‘ was the weakest of the two (and that is saying something) – and the plot basically involves a writer’s trip to a remote voodoo island so he can get some material for a book he is writing.

Once there, he soon stumbles across a scientist who is conducting experiments on the locals and is turning them into zombies with a specially treated snake-venom. The plot quickly falls apart once you delve any deeper than that, so we’ll leave it there.

This is a shocking film – badly acted, a crappy script, some terrible editing, in fact the only thing that the film has going for it are the amazing posters that were released for the main feature, and the incredible double-bill posters that you can see below.
