‘Revenge of the Zombies’ was directed by Steve Sekely and featured 1940s horror-legend John Carradine playing a Nazi scientist (based in the US) who is trying to create an army of zombies to be used as a wartime weapon against the United States and the Allies.

His plans get derailed by an undercover F.B.I officer working in his lab as an assistant, and by the fact that his own wife subsequently gets turned into one of the zombies.

The film was intended as a loose sequel to ‘King of the Zombies‘ from 1941.

Both films are pretty unremarkable, and the theatrical and publicity posters for ‘Revenge of the Zombies‘, whilst being visually pretty interesting, didn’t really convey much terror.
