The Plague of the Zombies (1966): Soundtrack

The Plague of the Zombies is a Hammer Horror film that was directed by John Gilling and released in 1966.

The Plague of the Zombies is an atmospheric zombie film that take place in a small Cornish mine where strange events are seen taking place around the local tin-mine.

The soundtrack was composed and created by Hammer Horror musical legend James Bernard. James Bernard was responsible for many Hammer Horror scores through his career and he is probably best known for his soundtracks to The Quatermass Xperiment, he scored such classic films as The Curse of Frankenstein and Dracula

The soundtrack for The Plague of the Zombies is full of sharp horns and is full of doom-laden percussion.

The soundtrack for The Plague of the Zombies isn’t available and tracking down the individual tracks is near impossible (short of watching the actual film), however, the title track has been released in the past as part of Hammer Horror soundtrack compilations.
