After a zombie reaches New York on an abandoned boat that drifts into the harbour, a small team set out to track its origin and end up on a remote island where they find an epidemic of reanimated corpses.
This film goes for the jugular and is packed with visceral and gory scenes, and the theatrical posters follow a similar path.
